20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21)

The Resurrected Christ Walks with You and Me

These two verses are the final blessing and exhortation from the author of the Book of Hebrews. The author focuses our attention on the core belief of the Christian faith—the gospel—the truth of Jesus' resurrection. (V.20)

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Many have tried to find God in other ways, some through moral reform, some through educational reform, and some with good deeds. But there is no way to come before this holy God without resolving man's sin; that is why Jesus must be born into the world, to be crucified and die for us; He must bear God's punishment for our sins on the cross. When the Lord took the punishment of sin on the cross, we are released from the bondage of sin. The Lord must also be raised from the dead, for when He was raised from the dead, it is proved proof that He has power over death. This is not only the truth, but it is also what gives us strength daily. Jesus wants to be your way, your truth, and your life today.

Therefore, in the face of this pandemic and its aftermath, amongst all possible difficulties and challenges, we can cease to worry and fear. We will emerge as victors, for the Lord has given us a peace which transcends all understanding, and will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus: (V.21)

Have strength, to do His good will;
Have hope, to live in the manner that pleases Him!

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, we thank You and praise You, for You have risen from the dead, and You are walking alongside us. Today, we pray that You will renew our lives. We trust that You will save us completely and love us unreservedly. Allow us to experience the power of Your resurrection as we rise and answer Your call. As we handover ourselves to you Lord. Please mold us and build us up to be used by You. May we be united and become a testimony of the glory of God.
