LGC Mini Spring Conference: The Place of our Pilgrimage: “Finding Home in the Wilderness”
If you've felt the weight of the questions, “Where am I exactly?” or “Just where is it I’m headed?” this weekend may be of some help. We will explore, through scripture, film, readings, guided discussion and retreat, what we often experience as followers of Christ: being both home and “away”; caught between place and no-place. It’s easy to feel, but harder to define. Yet Jesus was called Jesus “of Nazareth” (place) yet he says, “I’ve no place to lay my head” (no place). Location and dislocation. How do we live like this? Can we?
